Experimental Research on the Dynamic Characteristics of Several Model Soils in Small Strain Range and Application in Shaking Table Model Test

Reasonable model soil is very important in shaking table tests to reduce the distortion of structure stiffness ratio. Several soils, such as sawdust soil, sand, rubber granular powder and kaolin were prepared a dynamic triaxial test proceeded determine their characteristics. The experimental results showed that variation shear modulus damping ratio with strain was consistent undisturbed soil. Finally, adapted complex interaction systems achieved good results. feasible research can provide helpful references for design similar test.
